At 255 Milledge, the interior is less a room than an unfolding moment. Light pools across plastered walls, catching textures that feel both modern and steeped in heritage. With restraint as our guide, Metal + Petal layered simplicity over storied architecture, creating interiors that are familiar yet quietly remarkable.

The palette is deliberate: walls that echo mossed stone, sculptural lighting that glows with ease, furnishings chosen for purpose rather than excess. Each detail complements the historic estate, ensuring ambiance takes precedence over ornamentation.

The custom bar is the defining feature. Inspired by an antique market find whose patina carried the kind of character you can’t replicate, we reimagined its form with local craftsmen to suit the scale and spirit of the space. The result is a bar that feels inevitable rooted in history yet fully equipped for modern entertaining. It anchors the interior as both a gathering place and a design story brought to life.

At 255 Milledge, the past is honored not through preservation alone, but through interiors that invite grace, conversation, and celebration into the present.
