ALPHA GAMMA DELTA

Built in 1896, the Thomas-Carithers house is located at the corner of Baxter St. and Milledge Ave. This classic home functions as a sorority house for Alpha Gamma Delta. Their organization hired our firm to balance the tremendous pressure of the home's history with the girls' need for an approachable space they feel comfortable using. Our focus was on 6 rooms: the foyer, the gentleman's parlor, the library, the drawing room, the den, and the solarium. We assigned each space a specific function and engineered layouts that could be useful to the young residents.
